New 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Available to All Employees!
ALL Douglas-Cherokee employees are eligible to participate in the State of Tennessee 401(k) savings plan. Any employee, no matter how many hours you work, is eligible to join. The main purpose of the 401(k) is to help you save and invest for retirement. When you make regular payroll deductions over a long period of time, your contributions can really add up, thanks to compounding-gaining earnings on what you already earned, as well as on your initial contributions. Your State of Tennessee 401(k) Deferred Compensation Program is not a short-term savings account. Many financial experts suggest setting aside a separate emergency fund for unexpected expenses. Bear in mind, the Deferred Compensation Program has a long-term horizon as a retirement savings plan.

Quick and Easy Enrollment: A few simple steps and your are on your way to investing in your State of Tennessee 401(k) Deferred Compensation Program.

Investments: Know your options. Your State of Tennessee 401(k) Deferred Compensation Program offers a diverse array of investment options and convenient account management. Detailed program and account information and the flexibility to make changes to your account are available at www.treasury.tn.gov/dc.
